We are a group of people in the greater Tulsa area that meet and support each other as we share our lives with one another, finding a new strength within to be that which God intended - Precious and Free.

Attending your first meeting is the foundation where recovery begins in twelve-step programs such as Codependents Anonymous.

In CoDA meetings, attendees share how they cope with the challenges of codependency, which may include experiences and skills they have developed to help them through their recovery.

Read more about what you may encounter at Your First Meeting, or reach out to the contact person, and/or persons, listed below to find out more information, or take a look at the specific literature used for each meeting in the Tulsa area HERE!

Meetings are like people, they each have unique personalities. Try different meetings to find what fits best for your recovery journey.

Regardless of your situation, the first step is to go to a meeting. We suggest that you attend at least six meetings before you decide whether CoDA is right for you, and your path to recovery from codependency.

Keep Coming Back!!

At the 2024 CoDA Service Conference, Motion #24063 passed, which updated the definition of what a CoDA meeting is. You can read the decision in full HERE.

All members are given the ability to make an informed decision about what their needs are out of a CoDA meeting. You may read the new requirements as defined by CoDA below:

  • Register on coda.org by using the online registration form. Required information includes day and time of meeting, first names of one or two contact members and their email addresses. A phone number is optional.

  • Read as written CoDA’s four foundational documents, posted on coda.org, at every meeting:

    1. The Preamble of Co-Dependents Anonymous

    2. The Welcome of Co-Dependents Anonymous (long or short version)

    3. The Twelve Steps of Co-Dependents Anonymous

    4. The Twelve Traditions of Co-Dependents Anonymous

  • Use CoDA’s foundational text, Co-Dependents Anonymous, “the CoDA book” as their main resource during CoDA meetings.

  • Use only CoDA Service Conference-endorsed books, workbooks, booklets, and pamphlets during meetings and for sale at in-person meetings.
